Air Hose Malaysia
air hose Malaysia is specifically designed to convey compressed air to or among pneumatic components,
valves, actuators, and tools. It is typically flexible and often reinforced. Construction
features such as coiling or corrugations can be used to minimize storage space required and to
allow positioning flexibility among components.
air hose Malaysia can be specified in English or metric units. Some may be supplied with both types of
units defined. Important specifications to consider for air hose Malaysias include inside diameter,
outside diameter and minimum bend radius. Minimum bend radius is based on a combination of
acceptable hose cross-section deformation and mechanical bending limit of any reinforcement.
Typical applications are given per manufacturers' catalog listing; some air hose Malaysia product may be
suitable for specialty or manufacturer-approved applications. Applications for air hose Malaysia include
pneumatic, fresh air, suction or vacuum, and exhaust. Pneumatic air hose Malaysia is rated for
compressed air and designed for use in pneumatic systems. Fresh air hose Malaysia is designed and rated
for delivery of fresh breathable air. Suction or vacuum air hose Malaysia is rated for air at less than
atmospheric pressure or designed for suction applications. Exhaust air hose Malaysia is rated for the
removal of unwanted particles or gases from an environment or system.
Important performance specifications for air hose Malaysia include working pressure, maximum vacuum, and
temperature range. The working pressure is the maximum service design pressure. Maximum rated
vacuum is most frequently given in inches or mm of mercury referenced below one standard
atmosphere. The full-required range of ambient operating temperature is specified in Fahrenheit
for English air hose Malaysia and Celsius for metric air hose Malaysia.
Construction options for air hose Malaysia include reinforced, coiled, corrugated or convoluted,
articulated, and multi-element. Reinforced air hose Malaysia is constructed with some element of
reinforcement; styles include textile braid, wire braid, wire helix, and many other designs in
many ply or layer configurations. air hose Malaysia can be coiled for flexibility and elasticity; this
feature often makes it expandable and easy to store. air hose Malaysia may contain corrugations, pleats,
or spiral convolutions to increase flexibility and capacity for compression and elongation.
Articulated air hose Malaysia has rigid hose sections that are constructed with "joints" that can be
swiveled, positioned, or articulated; often used in cases where hose discharge must be aimed,
such as coolant delivery to a work piece. A multi-element air hose Malaysia has more than one hose
formed or adhered together in a flat, ribbon, or bundled configuration.

Fittings - Bellows
bellows perform the function of sealing environments, carrying gases, liquids and slurry,
mechanical coupling, and performing electrical contact amongst other things. They are durable
and flexible when used within design specifications. bellows are cylindrical vessels
readily compressible and extensible as a result of numerous annular convolutions.
The most important specifications to consider when searching for bellows include inside
diameter, outside diameter, free length, and spring rate. The inside diameter specifies the
minimum inner diameter of the bellows. The outside diameter specifies the minimum outer
diameter of the bellows. The free length is the unloaded length of the bellows along the
convolutions. The spring rate is the spring force that the bellows applies. Common materials
of construction for bellows include aluminum, beryllium copper, brass, copper, Hastelloy,
Inconel, Monel, nickel, phosphor bronze, stainless steel, steel, tantalum, and titanium.
Methods of construction for bellows can be electroforming, chemical deposition, mechanical
forming, and welding. Electroformed bellows are made by depositing layers of metal, usually
nickel based, on a mandrel of aluminum. When the desired thickness is reached the mandrel is
melted away leaving behind the bellows. Chemical deposition is a method of forming bellows by
electro-depositing metal on a mandrel. Mechanically formed bellows include both roll-formed and
hydroformed types. Welded bellows are a series of convoluted rings or washers, which are
stacked on top of each other and welded on the inside and outside circumference.
Other important parameters to consider include profile or shape of the bellows, applications,
and features. Common profiles or shapes for bellows include round and square or
rectangular. Applications include aerospace, automotive, chemical, motion coupling, fluid
coupling, electrical contacts, HVAC, high purity, marine, petrochemical, and semiconductor.
Common features of bellows include cryogenic rated, flange, hermetic sealing, medically
rated, necks, and vacuum rated. Cryogenic rated bellows are used in cryogenic systems to handle
very low temperature gases. A flange is a fitting used to attach the bellows to equipment or
piping. Hermetic sealing on bellows is used in high and low pressure applications in either
liquid or gaseous media. Medically rated bellows are used in applications to insure a high
degree of sanitation. Necks are rigid tube-like lengths running from the end of the bellows.
Vacuum rated includes any vacuum application to very high vacuum. Suppliers of bellows
can often provide assembly services.
